Our belief is that the only way to do a job is to do it right the first time. Our only hope is that the customer is completely satisfied!
The primary activity of the company is to provide renovations/repairs for seniors in and around the Peterborough, Ontario area in order to allow them to live out their golden years in the comfort of their own homes.
The secondary activity of Cornerstone Design Solutions is providing custom stained glass panels to kitchen cabinet and custom woodworking companies.
A third activity is a combination of the previous two which is custom woodworking. CDS provides the custom pieces that are not found in regular stores. If the piece is not available CDS will produce the piece to exacting standards and quality.
Stephen Buckle's love of wood consumes his spare time and involves timber frame design and construction in the hopes of building a small but comfortable timber frame home with a woodworking shop below the main floor similar to a garage with a loft.
Steve loves wooden boats, specifically cedar strip and lapstrake canoes and light craft which he hopes will be the main focus of his woodworking including producing beautiful paddles.
